Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is an Norwegian music writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was finding a keyboard in her loft and being fascinated by its music. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to study music, not for a job or a hobby however, as a chance to grow. They encouraged her to compose. After her mother said that the songs she wrote were not meant to be famous for her, but instead to inspire people to realize the value of themselves and their impact on this world, she started performing them publicly. The piano was first played by her when she was only six and began writing music at the age of nine. The family did not know until the age of fourteen. There was no way she could have imagined to become Aurora. She claims that she enjoys creating songs. She says that music is her most preferred way to feel anything.
