Anoushka Shankar
Anoushka shankar is a British and American sitarist. She also plays music. She was the first person of her generation to be a member of the British House of Commons Staff. Anoushka Sitar Shankar was the Indian young sitar singer. She is a student and daughter of the legendary Ravi Shankar. She was born in 1982 in London. Her early years were spent between London as well as New Delhi. Her first performance took place in New Delhi when she was just 13 years old. Later she moved to Encinitas CA where she graduated from High School with honours in 1999. While she's still young, Anouskha has an impressive performing and recording. Her father has accompanied her on numerous occasions for many years. In 1998, she dropped Anourag as her first album as a solo artist. The album was titled the album Live At Carnegie Hall, a Grammy-nominated album two years after. Alongside performing at many of the biggest venues, she also is a stage performer for a lengthy time. The career of Anoushka doesn't only involve musical performances. She released Bapi The love of my life in 2002. It is a biography which pays tribute to her father Ravi Shankar. In addition, she acted in a the film "Dance Like a Man" in 2003. She played a Bharat natyam dancer in Dance Like a Man. Anoushka Shakar's career as a professional is only going to continue to expand and expand. We can look forward to seeing many interesting things coming from her. Anoushka shankar is an English born singer who travelled her childhood split between London, Delhi and California. Anoushka Shankar started her musical studies at age nine. After four years, she made her appearance on the sitar in Delhi during her father's 75th birthday celebration. Anoushka was a part of her father throughout his global tour, gained a remarkable amount of experience. When she was in her teens, she appeared at Carnegie Hall as part of Peter Gabriel's WOMAD and even recorded with George Harrison. To honor her position as one of the top musicians in Asian Arts, she was awarded the House of Commons Shield by British Parliament.
