Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas popularly known as Ashanti was born on October 13, 1981 in Glen Cove New York United States. She is a songwriter, singer and actor who hails from in the United States. Ashanti was first discovered when she was an 18-year-old and was signing with Murder Inc. Records in 2002. That same year, she was included on the Fat Joe's What's Luv? track and Ja Rule's Always On Time track. Both of them turned into huge smashes. Ashanti has released her debut self-titled album in 2002, through Irv Goti's Murder Inc. label. The Declaration is the fourth Ashanti studio album. The release was made by Murder Inc. on June 3, 2008. On the 16th of October Hey Baby (After the Club) was made available to stations and digital platforms. She played Latasha on Army Wives and starred in the film Christmas in the City. Aitch performs in her Rock wit U song for Baby on March 10, 2022.
